My name is Lisa. I am a proud mother of two boys who are 16 and 18 years old. I started working in a daycare center over 21 years ago, and soon after, I started my own home childcare in 1995 when I saw that daycare centers lacked what I considered one of the most important things in caring for children: love. I consider the relationships between the provider, the parents, and the children of utmost importance. I strive to maintain a loving and trusting relationship with the children as well as the parents. I want the parents and the children to feel completely comfortable in my home and in talking to me about anything that concerns them. My home is a like a second home for the children. It is filled with love, patience, caring, and attention, with plenty of fun, laughter, learning, and playtime. Our care extends to the food and refreshments we serve the children. All meals are homemade daily with healthy and nutritious ingredients from my own kitchen. We serve plenty of fresh fruit and healthy snacks and beverages catered to the child’s special needs or diet. We practice safe food handling and take all precautions to ensure a clean and healthy environment.
I have two full time assistants who share in my values.
